    good post rat

I am not sure the lwrc 6.8 lower will match standard uppers. If I remember correctly (they might have changed this), it only fit a modified 6.8 upper. Again, I'm not sure as the new IC says it's available in both calibers?????

would like to see a bolt action 6.8. Every day i kick myself for not getting one when they were cheaper. about the steel case, i think this is a good move for training and for people like me that have a BOL.

    Great write up HTR.

I would love to see Hornady come out with a 120gr Lever Revolution bullet/ammo paired with any mfg. willing to make a 6.8 lever gun.

Hornady seems to have some great synergy with firearms mfg's and this would be a great place for them to capitalize on that!

Okay, marinesg1012, you lost me there. What are a gladius, templar action and target crown? I got the Surefire brake, but have to say, "Wha?" to the rest of those terms. Please edumacate me.

Right now Savage seems like the most likely company to hit up for a new 6.8 bolt gun. They clearly stated that market demand could result in a 6.8 model. I have never owned a Savage rifle, but given all the newer designs, threaded barrels and tactical models, with which they've come out, I would consider one.

If you want a bolt 6.8, I would suggest emailing or calling Savage, and while it might be futile, Remington.

As an aside I was very surprised to see just how few rifles there were chambered in 6.5 Grendel / .264 LBC. I really expected to see more. I suppose that manufacturers are selling so many .223 / 5.56 and .308 rifles that they have rested on their laurels. As you know, some have even abandoned their 6.8 rifles.

If we ever see an AR Performance booth at SHOT, my guess is that it will be swamped, and I would not be surprised if most of the people visiting were from other manufacturer's booths.
