I made it with about 80ft of 550 cord. The inside is black the outside is "chocolate chip cookie" cammo. Start out making one cobra knot with the black, and finish it to the proper length. Use that as the inside base for the cammo and then complete it to length.

It's cheap, easy, functional as hell and great in a pinch. You can peel off cordage and not waste your sling.
