Thumbs up Great new gun rag... AR Rifleman

I stumbled across a great new mag at the grocery store. It's called "The Complete AR Rifleman", It is everything AR!!! The issue I picked up has multiple reviews of 6.8's including the DD Ambush. Has article's on .338 specter, 458 socom, 6.5 Grendel, and many more calibers. It has a good mix of hunting and tactical focus to the articles.

Highly recommend picking up a copy. Good reading.

    The current issue is called
    Precision Hunting

    No problem.

I think any AR enthusiast will really enjoy this issue of this mag. It would also be a great one to have laying around to "convert" some buddies over to the AR platform =)

LOL good catch...the linky above is to a previous issue.

The current issue has a Stag Model 3 and the Daniel Defense Ambush on the cover.

Wilson Combat gets some good coverage in the mag too. A review on their 6.8 with whisper can...And an article on the 7.62x40 WT

Say which issue is it you have, I bought the winter 2011 a couple months ago, just wondering if there is a newer issue out.

Yup... found it this afternoon. Gonna save it for my next work hitch next week. NICE to see "6.8 SPC II" printed instead of JUST 6.8 SPC !! Good work by Wilson Combat to get that out there on their spec list for rifle and ammo !

I would've liked to see them test some of the WC ammo in the 6.8 just to show people the velocity it's capable of. Overall good mag though.

Harris Outdoor Group Presents #106- The Complete AR Rifleman- What the spine of the mag says

There is a ton of coverage on the 6.8 in this mag. Tons of hunting articles and reviews, all of them use the spc II terminology.
