I used to work in computer forensics. I don't know what you consider nudity, but the avatars on this forum will definitely qualify for "hostile work environment" lawsuits or "zero-tolerance" termination policies.

It is considered anything showing actual pink bits. Not girls in bikini's.

Everyone is responsible to know where they are and what they can look at on the computers they are on. I deal with it also and handle it by never using work computers and using my phone which I pay for. it can also be determined by work policies that surfing ebay or using your email is a violation and that they (work computers) are only to be used for work or company purposes and not personal business.

If they have a zero tolerance policy you probably will not be able to check your email from your 5 year old either. So it is a moot point.

I'm not really arguing or disagreeing, and turning off avatars works great. That said, it is important to recognize that not everyone will have the same definitions.

I wish I could surf the net or hang out on forums at work. Wait, no I don't, cause it would impact my productivity and therefore my forward momentum on the job.
On another note, I think the dead pig pictures are 100 times worse than the sexy women in bikinis and would offend more people than the latter. Not me, though, what I look at on my time is my business.
