Thanks guys. Its a pretty neat deal for a custom maker to land a collab with a manufacturer. Not only does it help us make ends meet but the knives get into alot more peoples hands which has all sorts of benefits.

I'm happy for you Todd. Congratulations. I'm impressed the strength and quality carries through to the production knife like you wanted. Looks like Boker is intent on bringing a serious product to market.

I'm seeing the need for a "real" group buy. Or at the least a good vendor Todd recommends who will be receiving some or we could place orders with. It'd be great if we could snag some of the first ones out. I see another picture thread coming.

We are now seeing the gap between red states and blue states widen significantly. At what point do they separate?

Congratulations Todd and that's awesome news. Knowing your standards, I'm sure Boker will do a fine job on a production Epicenter and that's a heck of a good price IMHO.

We still need to get together again one of these days... I "think" I'm done skiing for this season.

I'm going to talk to the guys at Boker during the Blade show and nail down dates for US release. I'll also talk to some people and see if I can't find a good dealer that is in good standing in the knife community.

I'm going to see if TADgear will carry them. They are very cool guys that I do Special limited runs with. They have sick gear and have built an amazing company.

    I'll keep you guys updated.

So, this was what you were talking about, in your message! Congrats Todd, this is impressive! Boker has some nice blades. Is there a reason you picked them to handle this?

Well Boker is really coming along. They have always done nice work but in the past there has been some stuff lacking from there lower priced section (75.00 to 250.00). They themselves see this and have really started working hard on their line. They also have done alot of thinking and started to bring on some serious names in the custom knife world to do collabs with. You'll recognize names that you used to see on benchmades and CRKTs etc...

Boker has it nailed on both the production side and the legal side. Things that are equally important to us custom guys. They also have an awesome reputation on taking care of us custom makers that do collabs with them. This is something that not all companies have a stellar rep on. The last thing I wanted was to get screwed.

I've also been informed their customer side support is awesome. That's someone that needs to be taken into account as well.

So all this made it seem like a good fit. Not to mention alot of the other guys they do collabs with are my friends.

Update on where to buy these knives. I'm actually going to be retailing them through my shop. You can also buy them through Boker USA.

I'm working on getting my website up and running to accept the retail sales of these production knives. So for those of you that can't wait you can order them through Boker USA. I'm not sure on time frame of having them on my site but we are working on it right now. I will also have to get the product in before I go hot with the website.

    I'll keep everyone posted.

    Thanks!
