Default Received my Viper PST 1-4

I got my Viper PST in yesterday. All I can say is what a nicely put together scope! The turret adjustments have nice solid, positive "clicks" to them, very readable markings, the knobs have excellent grip to them and the glass is really really nice!!! The reticle is nice too. The illumination settings are excellent too.

Very very nice scope overall. This will be going on my 5.56 for patrol work when the blessing comes down from the bosses. I think I will get an ADM X-tended Recon mount for it because of the long eye relief.

I have to say, Vortex continues to impress me.

You know, I am usually not the one to pick up on the latest and greatest from what someone says about something on the net or anything else, but damn, these Viper series scopes are really good stuff. All I can say is I hope they continue to grow as a company and put out even better products with the reasonable prices. I think they are gaining a large following.

I got the mrad/mrad PST. Gonna try this one out and see if it is going to be easier.

I am replacing the EOTech 557 and flip to side setup I had on my 5.56 rig to get away from the dot sights and then having to use a magnifier. 1-4X scopes fit this bill pretty well in my opinion.

I thought about it as well before getting the moa version but since I'm used to moa and all my others are moa, I decided to keep it simple.

I have vortex vipers on all my rifles in various versions and can only say that I all expectations have been met. They are excellent scopes for the money......

oh one more things, if you want flip up caps, go to the vortex site and order the number 3 and 5. They are nice with the vortex logo as well
