man thinking about pulling the trigger on abarrel.this is helping me.the only thing keeping me from doing it is that i don't reload and there is no one that loads this except Wilson. if i am not mistaken.

As far as I know they are the only one's who load it. But they did make sure reloading stuff is out there I believe. I followed this cartridge on ARFcom and when WC came along and helped with it and picked it up. They saw the real potential and market for the use of common .308 bullets for reloaders with the 5.56 cases to begin with and then started loading ammo for it. It is mostly for hyper sonic bullet shooters, but I heard it also helps with heavier bullets for suppressed. Which sounds like a wise move given the hoops one needs to jump through to get a suppressor and there are many places like my area where they are banned or some thing like that. So the 7.62X40 WC puts more power for those who want it or need it.

If I got any thing wrong there I'm sure some one will correct me.

I loaded up some 308 110gr V-Maxs the other day for the inaugaral trial of my neighbor's WT upper from WC. Fun gun to shoot! This was just live fire function testing so no data on velocity or accuracy, but I'll put that up once we develop the barnes ttsx 110gr load along with pics.

I waiting to see what the handloaders find for the best powder. The WT should shine with the TTSX 110, it will expand good at 300BLK velocities. Lots of 147 FMJ pulls can be had for about 10 cents each for a plinking load.

I sold my barrel to a friend who has it on a back burner, maybe this fall we'll play with it more. He has 1k of brass trimmed, I can't wait for him to load them up, and I'll offer to help unload them.

Do you have any load data for 147 fmj pulls? I was wondering about that

This looks like a sweet round - I really like the fact that you can load from .223 brass. Makes sourcing brass VERY easy....may have my next build.

Is there a bore guide you can use for this in an AR?

    Thanks,

Two questions: For those of us that live, or will have to move to shortly for school, in states run by stupid people, which 10 round mags work, and do you have a brand to recommend, as I didn't see any on the WC site? Secondly, what is the trim-to length for 5.56 brass before resizing? Thanks!
