Today is the day for the launch.....we are loading pages to the website as I type[] There is a lot of data to get out with this launch, and we are going to have it as complete as possible when we "announce". We will send out a press release and newsletter sometime mid afternoon, and that is when the fun will start! In the meantime, rest assured, rifles are being assembled, barrels polished, mags modified, and ammo loaded!

I'm pretty interested in this. These may be dumb questions, but i assume I can still use my 5.56 mags and bolt with the 7.62x40 WT? How is this different from the 300BLK and Whisper (never did much research on these)?

The 300 BLK is optimized for subsonic use, but can work with supersonic loads. We feel that most users are interested in mainly supersonic use, with some interest in subsonic. The 762x40WT is optimized for supersonic use, with a serious upgrade in velocity. Generally speaking, 100-200( depending on the load) fps over the 300 BLK. Both rounds use standard 5.56 AR mags, but modified for reliabilty by removing the interior ribs in the front-sides of the mag. We are modifying and selling LANCER 20 and 30 round mags. WC also has dies, brass, and loaded ammo for sale.
Much more info to come with the official release statement in a few hours, but that is the short story to catch you up to speed.

Nicely done launch, with everything you need available at once. You guys could teach Freedom Group a thing or ten.
Can .300 BO be fired in this? I assume not but I'm not sure how different the shoulders are.
Also, is this considered a proprietary cartridge or is anyone welcome to produce ammo/guns for it? Are any other ammo producers going to be running it?

Nope, you can't fire the 300 BLK in this chamber. The 72x40WT is open for anyone to get involved in.....ammo, barrels, uppers, complete guns...the more the merrier! I don't know of any other ammo makers at this time, but anyone that wants to is certainly welcome!
