There was a fello who said "68 SPC=223;68 SPC II=556; 6.8x43 dmr-c= 556 wylde". My limited knowledge is that you can't shoot 556 through a 223 barrel due to pressure limitations, is this principle generally the same with SPC and SPCII? I will also check with Stag, but just for general purposes is this the same concept?

And yes, I do plan on reading a modern reloading book before I start my attempts at reloading. I read most of an old Speer book from the 70s my dad has, which he says the tables are the same, but i'd like to read a modern book as well. I assume they have added a few things since then as far as new techniques and modern tools that can be used, not to mention new ammunition tables. Don't want to hack this thread with reloading talk, so any reloading tips/comments please send me a PM.

    Thanks

Yes same concept but not AS important as it once was, SSA's ammo is not as fast or hot as it was. Wilson Combat ammo on the other hand should not be shot in SAAMI spec chambers.
