4 point whitetail buck taken at about 100 yards with Nosler 100 gr AB, MV 2800 fps. Had some concerns about this bullet earlier on an antelope when there was no expansion. It was suggested on the forum that due to the extended range of the shot (400 yards) the impact velocity was below the performance threshold for the bullet. That seems to be right on based on the performance on this deer. The first shot hit a rib going in and passed between coming out. He ran about 40 yards, stopped and looked at me...so he got a second one through the neck. It wasn't necessary, the first one hammered both lungs, there was an exit wound that was about 1". There was blood outside the chest cavity on the exit side, however I backtracked from where he fell to where he was standing when I shot and there was no blood on the ground anywhere I could find. Had he kept going he would have pumped some out I'm sure. The first shot was through and through, the second entered the front of his neck on the left side and passed down and into the chest cavity exiting the chest cavity in front of the shoulder. I could not find an exit wound so the bullet may have traveled along the outside of the rib cage under the hide. Hopefully I'll find it when its time to skin it. If I can get them to upload I'll post pics of the wounds on the inside of the rib cage. All in all satisfied with performance...and loving this 68 more each time I take it out.
Congrats on the harvest.

Nice buck you got there. For that 2800fps with the 100gr Nossler Accubonds whats your load data (power brand/type/amount, brass, primer and OAL) and barrel (brand and length), I'm looking to have my own loads made and kinda sifting through everyones data for some good starting points. If you don't mind sharing that is.
DOES ANYONE KNOW A CHEAT CODE FOR INFINITE AMMO?
The rifle is an RRA 1:10 16" barrel, I am using RP brass with Federal 215 primers and 33.0 grains of AA2460. It is loaded to 2.295" OAL. 10 shots over the chronograph averaged 2801 fps with an ES of 20 fps. It consistently shoots .75". I started at 31 gr and worked my way up by .5 gr. 32 and 32.5 both turned out groups @ 1".
