Any love for a Southpaw in your line???

Hi Chris, I've been lurking around here a couple of weeks trying to learn as much as I can about 6.8 SPC rifles and in particular 6.8 GPU system which is what brings me here.

I really like what I see in your line of rifles and uppers and HOPE you might bring my search home to the Promised land .
Like the subject line hints I'ma lefty looking for an AWESOME tactical rifle that doesnt throw brass across me, my line of sight, and down my shirt/jacket/sleeve when I shoot.
Which of course means:
Left side: ejection port, bolt carrier,bolt, extractor/ejector and,
Ambidextrous controls: selector switch, magazine release, bolt release, AND oh yes an
Ambidextrous side charging handle- non-reciprocating thank you
Please. (Please + Infinity)

Your ATAC line in the 18" barrel comes so close to what I'm looking for and I see you have side charging handle upper receivers which is awesome.

ANY chance that this could come together and make this long suffering lefties dream for a perfectly awesome tactical rifle end up together on the range someday?????
I know this is asking for a lot but some of the threads I've read here ( I think I even saw one about a lefty gun coming) and your website lists custom options are available.
I just don't know if this creature exists or could exist but dang it I'm not gonna find out if I don't ask.

Several dealers and gunsmiths tell me " No Way, Not even in 5.56 let alone 6.8"
Yet:
RRA is close with their PDS 6.8 with the GPU System and side charging handle but no lefty love.it even folds but has a weird fore end with out any 1913 rails.
Stag has their AR 5L which is a Leftilicious 6.8 but; not a 6.8 GPU system,& no side charging handles
POF has their 6.8 GPU which seems to be a quality line with ambi controls but no lefty and no side charge handle.

And the features your products have that I mentioned above including the quality barrels.
Your company seems to be highly adaptive to the changing dynamics of the 5.56 & 6.8 GPU upper rifle market.
Is this a direction (to the LEFTY direction that is) you're looking at reaching out into, at all???

as an available Complete Upper/Rifle configuration and if so what would it cost to own such a beast?

I can build a left handed 6.8 ATAC GPU (using stag parts).

We do not offer it in a side charging set up in a left handed eject configuration.

Cost would be $1299.00 inc. shipping.

We will have to cut the M4 ramps into the upper receiver, since Stag does not offer their uppers with M4 ramps.

ETA would be 30 days.

But "danging" the selection and availability of SOUTHPAW friendly components for shooters.
However the good news is at least there IS some selection and availbility now, it hasn't always been so.

OK, I'ma gonna have to do a little soul searching. I definetly want a Left Hand Eject AR in 6.8SPC
(or 5.56, but mostly 6.8, maybe both but not at same time) with a well designed GPU system and quality barrel and rails, etc.... Addax has all that.

Giving up on a LEFTY ( or ambi ) side charger w/ LEFTY eject , I don't think I want to do that at least not yet.( I've already fussed enough about Lefty eject above in previous posts)
I've always hated the AR15'/M16 charging handle design and location.
I have to break cheek weld with stock and lose the sight line to target to use the thing and the motion feels like I'm starting a lawnmower, not cycling the action on a weapon.
I've always liked the side charging systems like the HK MP5 or even the FN FAL (and similar styles) non- reciprocating of course much better.

So once again as a LEFTY shooter I'ma faced with a compromise. You get used to it being left handed but its frustrating all the same cause Lefties are on the wrong side of the 80:20 equation/rule.
A : go with a "RIGHTY" side charger upper receiver, right side eject, Addax ATAC 6.8 GPU system and its awesome features and still get harrased by flying brass, or
B: Go with a STAG LEFTY upper receiver w/o M4 ramps, Addax ATAC 6.8 GPU with all it's awesome features and " fire up the the TORO" every time I lock and load.

Your price seems fair enough for this and no complaints on your ETA either.
I will definetly give this serious consideration.

We machine the M4 ramps into the upper (that is what we normally do with the Stag Lefties, since all of our barrels are equipped with M4 Extensions).
