    Default Primary Arms Microdot?

Looking for input from folks who might actually own/use the PA MicroDot. This would be offset mounted next to a good 3x9 scope for the range and deer/hog hunting.

There is no way I will shell out cash for an Aimpoint. Is PA a good option or am I just cheap? Well, I am cheap, but am I asking too much?

i think they're supposed to be pretty tough. i heard the qd mount wasn't too great tho. the vortex sparc would be another option to consider. the only reason i shyed away from the pa micro was because it had a 4moa dot. for my puposes i think the 2moa dot would better suite my needs. i'm looking hard at a either a pa m3 or m4 clone... which ever one it is with a 2moa dot.....i think maybe the multi reticle one....idk.

Dredge I have the M4 clone with the multi reticule and 2MOA dot. It is on my MP15-22 I like it a lot I use it mostly at night to shoot at the various nocturnal nuisances around my house.

To the OP look at AR15.com industry forum and you will see tons of feedback on PA very fast and from what I hear great customer service. I wouldn't know because I have not had to use it.

I opted to not do the magnifier as it is mostly under 75 yard shots in my backyard. I have had decent accuracy out to ~50yds but I think that is all caused by the nut behind the gun and not the equipment itself. I got the M$ because you start out with a smaller dot so magnification will not make it that much bigger. PA has package deals when you order their sights so you can get the magnifier at the same time.

I own the PA Micro and have owned a few other brands that are more expensive and the PA is a step above the rest and the company is the best as far as service goes and they stand behind there products. You wont regret purchasing a Primary Arms Micro for the price and quality it cant be beat. I would say better than the sig sauer version that is 3X the price better than the barska and the any other cheap micros out there. Aimpoint in Battle for sure if your going to bet your life on it. For everything else the PA MICRO wil due and they can take one hell of a beating check out you tube a guy throws it at the pavement multiple times and it holds up no problem.

I've heard several good reviews of Vortex's $200.00 red dot. It may not be in the same league as Aimpoint or EOTech, but it's suppose to be a very good sight.

people buy them, people don't sell them....that's really all you need to know.

I have some PA stuff and they are very good. In fact, someone did a comp of the millet and PAs 1-4x and they are identical except for reticle. Still further inspection of the two scopes taken apart showed identical inner specs. Are they made in the same factory etc? I dunno but that thread on ar15 was prettttty interesting.

Obviously, Marshall's products are cheaper and made in China but he stands by the product and the reviews are almost always very positive
