    Default New from WA

    new to this forum and also new to the 6.8 as of about a month ago
    loving everything about the 6.8 except cost, but you get what you pay for right

    currently staked in a RRA 6.8 CAR (local shop $880) and added:

    • Knight's Armament RAS kit (ebay $137.50)
    • Streamlight TLR-2S (ebay $195.05)
    • Eotech 552 (ebay $350)

    ammo is expensive here in local shops, so I've been ordering from cheaperthandirt;

    • SSA Sierra Pro Hunter Soft Point, 110 Grain $17.79

    and Midway;

    • Hornady Varmint Express 110 Grain V-max $19.99

    magazines I'm in the dark about, use to 223 mags
    i ordered a couple from MAGS LLC

    • 25 round stainless steel magazine with a black gen II magpul follower & choice of chrome silicon or stainless steel spring (went with silicon) $14

    i guess I'll found out how they work soon

    i work corrections and we don't get to carry guns in the facility, but we get toys to use
    i enjoy shooting whenever i get the chance to, which has not been as often as I'd like lately

    Welcome aboard.

    Magazines, the cheaper of the selection is the C-Products mags, and then the PRI or Barrett mags for the 6.8.

    Also check SSA for prices on ammo too.,

    I deal with about 5%-10% of the population 80%-90% of the time...
