The radiused striker block gets rid of the annoying crunch....the 45's seem to have worse crunch than the 9's - at least mine do. I just put one in a few minutes ago and changed out my rear sight on the 45. Took about 10 minutes...drift sight, remove sb, install new one, reinstall sight - done. For those who don't need a lighter pull, just buy the striker block. I did my whole trigger job for close to what it would cost to ship the gun, not to mention the time wasted packaging the gun and driving to the shipper etc. In any event, I'm pleased with the results given the ease of installation and low cost. The M&P is an inexpensive service gun, you'll never get a 1911 trigger out of it but this Apex kit sure as hell beats the stock trigger! I've also sampled Bill Springfields work but not on an M&P - he does an excellent job.

Might want to check out www.mp-pistol.com for answers to any questions you may have regarding the M&P series pistols.

I have 2 M&P40s and they both have Apex sears in them. Really like these guns... The .40s seem to have less problems than the 9mm or .45 versions - likely because it was the original caliber for this series.
