Default 6.8 spc made by Wolf?

Okay, I know I'm putting my neck on the chopping block.....but....if Wolf made 6.8spc ammo in their steel cases would you use it in your rifles?

I probably wouldn't, I don't use any Wolf right now anyway. But I think it would be good for the 6.8 in general. There are a lot of people that are just interested a cheap plinking round, or at least want one to practice with. I think that having Wolf make a low cost loading would encourage a lot of people to get into the 6.8, or allow them to shoot it a lot more.

My ARP or any other quality barrel=NO

But like posted above, it would be good for the 6.8 in general.

I would not use it in my barrel. I only have the one 6.8 and I won't feed it steel cases, now if I had an old beat up 6.8 then that might be different.

I've only shot Wolff ammo in SKSs and AKs (piston rather than DI platforms) with no issues. It is a steel case and coated with a clear lacquer which I've read will melt in the chamber of a hot DI AR.

the older stuff you had to worry about lacquer melting and getting stuck, but the newer stuff you don't. no lacquer and kind of a duller looking case.
