Default FS: YHM Diamond Spector length FF rail

I have a like new YHM Diamond 10" (spector length) rail I put on my DPMS when I thought I was just going to upgrade it with a rail and new barrel and ended up building a complete new rifle instead(go figure, BRD at it's best). The rail only went to the range one time for 50 rounds of test loads as thats about all I do looking for the best loads possible, so the thing is like new and I even have the end cap for it so it doesnt have a big hole around the barrel(cant use the ring with a Mid-length gas but the gas block fills the hole so it still looks good).

I'll take $100 + $10 shipping for the whole setup, I think I paid like $180 for the rail, trim ring, and shipping when I bought it just a couple months ago. So if you need a nice FF rail at a steal of a price then PayPal money to caseypoole@suddenlink.net and PM or email me your shipping info if you send the money as a gift to get around the 4% PayPal fees(if you do not send the money as a gift(most do) add $4 to the total($114 instead of $110.00).

    Thanks,
    EWP

Default Not for sale anymore, sorry!

Sorry this is no longer for sale, I shipped a $300 DD .223 barrel and the PO lost it(it looks like someone cut the tape on the tube and stole it) but I'm having to substitute the rail and some other things since I forgot to insure the barrel when I shipped it. lesson learned about shipping expensive stuff and not insuring it.

Well, that just sucks !!! I hope you have the postal inspector alerted for theft of firearms components. Really sorry to hear it.

If it was stolen "in the mail"... I'd get ahold of the post master for your area and report the theft to them... as well as reporting it stolen to your local law enforcement agency.

If you have proof of shipping... and it was in the care of the Postal Service... and being that it was firearm components... they "should" be interested in knowing about it and investigating it.

A couple of other thoughts for you... if you have a Police Report declaring it stolen... and can provide them with a pix of the missing item:

    1. You may be able to claim the loss on next years' taxes
    2. The local pawn shops may be required to be on the look out for it too (one more chance at recovery). The local PD should be able to advise on that though.

Shake the tree... better chance of gettin' a coconut.

Well the PO I use is a very small PO that covers one little zip code in this area and is ran by two old ladies that I have full faith in so if it was stolen it no telling where alone the way it was stolen at and I doubt it was at a local PO, it changed hands between LA and CA several times and it would be hard to say where it was removed from the tube at but the receiver sent me pic's of the tube and you could clearly see where someone had cut around the end cap. It was so unnoticeable that the receiver opened it from the other end and even made his PO carrier wait until he opened it since it weighed nothing and the shipping label that was created at the PO(not by me) showed a weight of 2 lb 3.8 oz. It wasn't until his carrier left that he even noticed that the tape had been cut around the plug on the other end, so I definitely think it was stolen but how or why would anyone know what was even in it unless they just thought heavy tube must be something of value.

I will see what I can do but since I didn't insure it I'm taking the loss and offered the YHM rail and my DPMS 6.8 spec-II barrel(my old one, but it shot so good) in place of the lost barrel since it was a very expensive DD barrel(I paid $350 new and it only had a couple 100 rounds through it).

I wasn't implying your local PO was at fault... just that ya gotta start somewhere with your claim. They should be able to start their paper trail and have an inspector put on the claim.

It still sucks, losing out like that. Sorry to hear it.
