Hello from Okla.
Biggest hobby is hunting followed by shooting. I was lucky enough to get on the USAF shooting team so I am a big fan of "free" shooting. Nothing like someone saying, " here's a weapon and a case of ammo, when you run out come back and we'll give you some more". In afghanistan we'd shoot over 1k rounds each per day. That's sweet until you have to clean the damn thing.
I got into 6.8 I think for the same reasons alot did. It's a step up from the 5.56 with fine performance. I'm still working on loads that mine likes but I'm sure what the end result will be.
Tons of knowledge and experience on this site! I'm hooked.
