A Noob Checks In

Hi Everyone................I am a noob here but no new to AR type rifles.............I have a Bushy M4gery and I built another M4 type in 5.56, I sold that and I am now in the process of building a 6.8 SPC AR,

I have VLTOR MUR Upper and a POF Lower.......I am searching around for the barrel I want, and that seems to be the hitch right now, I want a 14.5 M4 profile with a Phantom on the end......Permanently attached of course!!

My backgrounds is former USCG Gunners Mate [76-86], Small Arms instructor and related subjects.

I am now a Maintenance Tech for a Metal Casting Company in NH

I thought this would be a great place to pick up tips and stuff on the 6.8 to make my build a little more interesting.

Welcome aboard!!

Your going to have to 16 and have it cut down to 14.5 and have the FS attached. ADCO can do it for you. I suggest for barrels either the KT if you want CL or the Denny Recon if you want SS more match type barrel. Either one will perform excellent.
