I think you will have a rig that can be passed down through the generations when its completed.

Look forward to seeing that SWS rail. Did you go with the 12 or 14" rifle?

He did the 14", DA. I was looking at those SWS rails and if I had over 300.00 for a rail it would be my choice over DD and Larue.

Thank you guys for the comments to answer you questions

I am wishing I could use a Nightforce but it is way out of my price range. The rifle deserves something in the 3-12 or 4-16 power range. I know it needs to have a lighted mildot any suggestions in the 600-800 range.

I want to add pictures but not sure how to put them on here.

I chose to go with 12" rifle length tube. They have changed the design a little from the website and it looks more like the Noveske at the barrel nut. It is the best looking rail I have seen so far and is so light. I think it will really complient the ARP Recon barrel.

I think my son wants me to finish it worse than me because he has already laid claim to my other 6.8 rifle when its done. He may have to outshoot his mother to get it though.

I didn't go with the DD lite rail because I do not like the looks of the mounting plate at the barrel nut. Probably a really good system, but the SWS use 6 bolts also in a much cleaner look. The lines of the rifle are all straight and clean being billet upper & lowers.

Working on a SWS rail right now. I have a Noveske 5.56 barrel and a Vltor upper to match my Noveske 18" SPR but in a 16" version. I am about ready to pause and make this set up 6.8. As some of you know I am trying to figure out what barrel to go with on a 6.8 build. I have thought about pulling the trigger on a Noveske barrel and slap it into this upper set up, but the coin for the Noveske barrel has held me back.
I think my 6.8 build is going Bison with a Rainier Arms Ultra Match Billet and a JP forend.

To get back on track the SWS rail is top notch!
If you folks want pics of the SWS let me know I get em up as soon as possible.

Azcowboy sounds like you have great taste. Can't wait to see your build! Would I change anything you ask, hell no. Good build.
