Default Replacing Flash Hider/muzzle brake on 6.8 Upper?

    I read that most 6.8 barrels used a 5/8 - 24 threading?

I read that Stag barrels may use the 1/2 -36 threading on theirs but I have still not had confirmation from them.

Do you know what the case is with the Stag barrels? Just wanted to keep this in back of my mind if I decided to replace the stock A2 cage it came with.

Also, what muzzle brakes/flash hiders do you folks recommend and where do you usually buy them from?

    Thanks

Im not sure, but I would have to think with that "big" of a difference in size you should be able to tell just by looking down the barrel (unloaded ) if it is 1/2" or 5/8"
