Hey everyone,

just got off the phone with E.R. Shaw and they are making our new barrels now. We should have these at the end of the month. We are ordering the following:

16" recon profile shown in our other barrel thread, includes the Ops-Inc collar shelf

18" recon profile shown in that thread, includes the Ops-Inc collar shelf.

18" spr profile, same as our first batch

20" barrels, same as our first batch

These are fairly limited runs, FYI. The best way to get the ball rolling on one of our barrels, or a complete upper, is to email me at ben@bisonarmory.com with what you are looking for.

Do you have BCG's available if a barrel is ordered? I would like to order a 16", but only if I can get a YM NM BCG with it.

Thanks,
Mike

I'm going to be placing an order very soon. But first, and I apologize for a possibly stupid question, what is the profile difference between the 16" Light SPR, the 18" SPR per the stie and a Recon as mentioned above. I'm still deciding between a 16" and an 18" but unsure still and the profile or lightness may help sway me.

I should update that info. The light SPR is the same as the recon profile. The 16" and 18" are the same except for the overall length. The other thread that has those piccs of the profiles shows them both. I'm still offering my original 18" SPR profile as well.

Info on the website updated.

Also note: the barrels have been shipped to me. I should have them this week, or early next week. Almost there!

OK, new update. The barrels that shipped were all 20" barrels, argh! No word on the 16" and 18", but I know they are working on them right now.

Thanks for the update. I'm still waiting on my stripped upper and lower to arrive anyways.

just talked to Shaw. They shipped my 18" recon profile barrels. It will be another week to 10 days before they ship my 16" barrels. Almost there.

Hey Ben, thanks for the reply sunday on the 16" barrel.I just really wanted the 18" variety.I just pre-ordered one of your 18" but i wanted to be sure it was the heavier profile, not the light or recon version. Is this what you mean by original SPR? .840 under the tube and is that .750 at the GB? This will allow me to get the last few parts underway.Im sure you have a mid length gas tube we can add to the order.

Thanks for you patience .. Southern

Once the barrels get here, I will call/email everyone on the list and sort out exactly which barrel it is that they want. You can change your mind up until the barrel ships, so don't worry :-)

Anyone receive a barrel out of this shipment yet? I have an 18" on order. I thought it was shipping last week, but no sign of it yet. My other 6.8 needs a friend!

Sorry for the delay, I've been trying to get the 18" barrels out but it's taking longer than I thought. I had to get a pile of them off for Gun Kote and bead blast finishing, and I'm still getting my new gas port jig set up. I'll be getting to your barrel soon.
