Magpul UBR?

Has anyone here seen a Magpul UBR for sale, full kit. I have been looking, but it seems like they do not exist. :shock:

Pretty much all on backorder. I'm looking at one too and have been watching Brownells, but no luck so far.

I got mine off ar15.com EE brand new. PM a guy who goes by "Ryo" on that site and ask him if he has received any. He regularly gets them in every other week....while these big online stores still show backorder.

WOOT got a call from ADDAX today and my UBR is shipping tomorrow !!!!!!!!!!!!! funny thing is that the MIAD grip i orderd with it is not in yet the rare part in bit the common is not :lol:

Talked to a guy at the Richmond show this past weekend who had hoped to have them for the show. He wasn't the owner, but he stated that they expect them in sometime this week, if you want to try him... I believe he said they would run just inder $300...

Yeah both are hard to find. Hence my mismatched UBR/MIAD colors.

I saw one go for $510 on eBay a couple of weeks ago. Mine is on back order. If I had one in hand, I'd flip it & order another one while I'm waiting for all of my other parts.

Mine's been on back order for 3 months and counting. Hopefully my son won't inherit it before I get the chance to use it.

Looks like I'm using the A2 stock when my Extreme upper arrives. :cry:

I just do not see why people pay over retail, it is just crazy and encourage the price gougers!
I would not charge $ 500. for a $ 225. stock, it is just not an honest thing to do. I just am not that type of person and want nothing to do with anyone who is.

To me this type of stuff is just like gas stations that charge $ 8. a gallon for gas during a hurricane. I can not print what I think of those people!

I now have a UBR on backorder for just a little over $ 200. with the Military discount and bought the Vltor Emod from Midway USA. They delivered it in two days It is now sitting on my new Spikes lower waiting for my AR Performance Recon upper to be made. I may just buy another lower to put the UBR on when it arrives. That even gives me a reason to get another upper!

i think i paid over norm by $50 or so a couple months ago. But i say if there's a buyer at $500, so be it. I don't like the gouger just like any other guy but it's market pricing, right? like ebay...

And the small margins over the dealer pricing on magpul stocks are probably so slim given that these dealers only get 10 stocks per month...that the high demand and low supply and irratic delivery times force them to raise the prices or gouge.

Shades of amazement, I got an email today. My UBR is expected in next week & should ship by the end of the week.

That was the last thing I was waiting for, besides my Xtreme upper that is. ;)

I placed an order for a UBR on Brownell's website even though it showed backordered. To my surprise, I received a shipping notification 2 weeks later. Out of curiosity, I checked Brownell's website and it still showed "backordered". Your best bet is to just order one unless you have to have it NOW and can afford to pay the extra $$$.

I read that there are some very-authentic-looking counterfeit UBRs on the market--they look as good as the real thing (almost), but are Chicom airsoft replicas. Magpul put out a notice on what to look out for (check the AR15 Magpul forum)--the differences are pretty subtle, so if you're buying off eBay or from a seller whose creds you aren't sure of, be sure to ask for pics. Even some otherwise-trustworthy soul you meet at a gun show could have been ripped off and be selling a fake one by mistake, apparently.

Caveat emptor and so forth.

That is the very reason I will wait and buy one from a dealer at the normal price. Untill Magpul catches up on their UBR's my Vltor will be fine.

I got my UBR off of Ebay, and it was $310 with shipping for my 5.56. I went to Chad at eguns.com to see if he can get me an OD green UBR for my 6.8 build. He said he would email me when he gets some in. I'm not paying over what it is worth again. Money can be better spent elsewhere! PATIENCE PATIENCE PATIENCE! :D

Well, I only paid $265 for mine, but I waited 3 1/2 months for it too. I'd wait before I paid the bloated prices most places are charging, but that may just be me.
