I do love competition.

Keeps everyone honest and it can only help the shooter shoot more

I don't know if they are as good as Larue's but if they are 80% as strong I can apply these funds towards more ammo!

I bought two of these from SWFA, one 30mm and one 1". Right now I'm waiting for them to come in. If I get them before senality sets in, I'll give them a one over and let you know what I think.

I just picked up the Burris extreme tactical mounts. I think these are the seperate ring version of the ones discussed here they look the same just individual instead of one piece.

Man these suckers are thick. I got the x-high ones for a scope that I am putting on my 556 for p.d. hunting. For the money they are ice.

Oh the scope is the buckmaster Nikon with the mildot-6-18 they are on sale for $299 at Midway great for p.d. check-0em out for long range :D

I have a set of these too, they are in my mind an exceptional value both in quailty and price.

Ordered one for my Weaver scope I got at Natchez, since I am pulling all the parts and pieces together this looked like a good deal and 1/2 the price of LaRue. Not sure I need that quality, not saying it's bad, but I will try this one first.

Thanks for the info.

Ordered a Bushnell 3200 3-9-40 .So, ordering this Burris PEPR mount It should be a go for the Extreme that is on the way.Or is there something I am missing ? It looks like a sturdy mount and priced right.

I agree with Paulosantos. These mounts may be a good idea for shooters who keep their optics on the guns. If the fasteners hold tight and do not work loose, this mount makes lots of sense.

You sound like you are gonna be good to go. Just ake sure you get the appropriate size rings for that scope.

Looking at the Burris site.I am seeing that the PEPR mount is a 1" rise off the rail. Using a 6-Pos stock.I should be good to go.If some one see's an issue ,let me know. Also who has this in stock ? Thanks

Talked to a Burris rep today. He says the new mounts (PEPR) are not on the market yet.No real date for them either."About a month out" Just reporting what I was told today.

I've been going back and forth with SWFA (where I have some on order) and they've been giving me the dates they expect to get them in. Finally they told me `We don't know`. So I have time to excersize patience.

They are one inch from rail to bottom of ring. Depending on what size you get, center of scope will be 1.5-1.68 inches off the rail. That might make a difference on cheek weld.
