I was bored and took my new Weaver Classic Extreme 2.5-10X56 with German #4 reticle out to play. Would have felt bad at the cow in the pasture behine my hosue if the scope was mounted and I was in a bad mood. One picture is with the scope at 10X and the other 2 is with it on 2.5X. one of the 2.5 is digitally zoomed to the see the illuminated dot during daytime

Cool photos! I'll have a thick Ribeye, medium. :) Man you could have fed most of the forum with that shot. Now that would be a 6.8 BBQ.

Whenever I see one of these "Had a little fun" posts, I always wonder what one of the guys did this time before opening up the thread. The illuminated center dot will come in handy in low light obviously. I plan to go with illuminated reticles on scopes from here on out. There's not much difference in price, if any if you shop around, so why not have illumination?

I had mine out this weekend on a hunt and did some evalution at night...
still very impressed
compared it directly against my Kahles CL 3-10x50 and it absolutely held it's own
it's big but it's a VERY good scope

I really think I would go for a shoulder shot or a neck shot. Your sure gonna waste a lot of meat with that last shot.
