I need to get a set of BUIS for my Cardinal upper. I like the looks and design of the DPMS sights but wonder about the quality. I don't have a link to them but they are the only BUIS I have seen from DPMS.

What say you? Anybody here have DPMS BUIS or know anything about them good or bad?

Thanks.

Edited to add: I guess they are called "Mangonel" flip up sights.

I put a few rounds through some guys AR chambered in .45 ACP that had some of those sights on it. They were very.....different. He seemed to like them and they seemed to work well.

I've used several different kinds and I always go back to the Troy front and rear BUIS. They sit very low and the Rear BUIS has the same plane aperature so you don't have to worry about differnt POI when you switch from the small to large aperatures. The new Magpul BUIS also looks very nice.

I stick to Troy for flip, and Larue for fixed (rear). I had a Mangonel and thought it was way too delicate for anything but bench use.

I think Im going to go with Midwest Industries front flip site.... Just think it looks sleek. Havent completely decided on a rear yet, but it will probably be MI also tho
