I just got the 10 round PRI mags in the mail the other day. Although they are obviously of higher quality than what I got with the STAG upper, I have noticed that its pretty hard to get them to lock into the mag well. But this is either only when there are 10 rounds in the magazine (Any less and it pops right in) or when the BC is forward with 10rounds in the mag, it also wont lock in easily. But when the BC is locked back (chamber is open) it loads fine. Ive tried this in two different STAG 6.8 uppers and both had the same problem. I tried the magazine that I got with the upper and it works perfectly fine. I can get the PRI's to seat properly but it takes a hell of a lot of force to get them to stay there. Any suggestions??

You may have to load only nine rounds. This is common in guns like Glock where there is only enough room for a full mag and you have to struggle to get the last round in. I think they want to ensure you can only get 10 rounds in the mag so they can sell to ban states and honestly say it can only take 10 rounds no matter what.

I have a 10 rounder that fits tight in the well. It will not fall free and I have to pull it out.
Functions fine though.

that maked sense. Although they do have a label on the package that say more round could be loaded but it could create problems functioning etc. I was just suprised that the mag I got for free with the upper works perfectly fine, but hte mag I spent $40 has issues. :( Although I will say they are better built. And I am jealous of my two friends that picked up complete STAG 6.8's that came with the PRI mags.LOL
