So I went more on a recon than a hunt and to seed some fields, pulled in on a pasture with 6 hogs in it, turned off the truck and had my friend go across the hood with the thermal, I went out the driver side window the D760 this was at 6:pm daylight had to leave the daylight cover on and had no problem spotting them at 150 yards, we did the count down and put holes in the big ones and started the clean up on the smaller ones, later a wounded one charges my friend but his PPKS 380 stopped it at 2 yards, wish I had that on video, I was laughing my ass off . <o:p></o:p>
So yes you can shoot during the day with a D760 I took 4 hogs in broad daylight with the lens cover on out to 150 yards, it was not a problem, not as nice as night but very doable <o:p></o:p>

Working on the Captain Morgan stance, used the small pig for the picture because I pulled my back lifting the big one into the truck! Notice the Hawaiian cammo shirt all the real cool hog killers wear them.
