While single-tube weapon-mounted night-vision optics such as the AN/PVS-14 mounted behind a night-vision capable optical weapons sight such as those offered by Aimpoint or Eotech work well, many operators prefer to have stereoscopic vision and depth perception for night movement, which enhances their situational awareness and ability to move effectively through combat terrain. Combined with the availability of infrared weapons-mounted aiming lasers, the dual-tube goggle system affords far superior combat night vision capabilities.
In response to the demand for dual-tube systems for ground combat use, the AN/PVS-15 dual-tube system was developed specifically for special-forces. The AN/PVS-15 is a fixed-gain, autogated, ruggedized, submersible self-contained system with integral battery pack and a built-in short-range IR illuminator.

PVS-15 systems are available from Ident Marking with first-quality, hand-selected ITT generation 3 autogated Pinnacle tubes or L3 generation 3 autogated tubes, including filmless tubes, as well as other available tubes.
Housings are available for installation of purchaser’s existing compatible tubes as well. Call for details.
Ident Marking has PVS-15 units with first-quality, hand-selected ITT Pinnacle tubes for $8500.00.
