Hello,
I am in the market for a coyote light and came across this one. I hate to buy things without anyones feedback and I have not found anything good or bad. Is there any info you can give me about the torch and what temp ranges will it work in.

thanks, Mike

I'm very familiar with the ELR Torch. It is Infrared, so it will only be visible with night vision. It has a variable beam focus, and an integral mount, so that you can put it on a picatinny rail or right onto a D-740.

The Torch is the brightest IR light I have used for night vision. There really is no equal to it as far as brightness and distance.

Hope that helps

If you can give a little info it may help us help you better.

How far of a distance(throw) are you looking for?

Intended use? Rifle mount? handheld?

Spot or flood light?

I have open fields around me, I would like to be able to illuminate eyes at 300yds plus, rifle mount so I would say spot

Not positive what would do 300 yds. You may want to check at ccokers site to see if they have gotten any lights that illuminate that far. I have a Stanley HID light that I use around the house that is not rifle mount but boy does it sure light up the yard it's about as close to daylight as you can get.

the ELR Torch will make it to 300 yards, but what NV device are you using? Not many are effective out past 300-400 yards, unless you are talking about the PVS-27 or the new WASP coming out, and that's not available yet. You might make 300 yards consistently with a D-760 and ELR Torch.
