ATF variance approved finally

Now we get to wait another 4 weeks for the lowers to be machined and anodized.
At least we don't have to wait for ATF to do it again next time.

BTW These lowers are marked "Innovative Tactical Systems" on the left side, will have the Gator grip.
Not sure about the face laser etched on the right side, If we did it may be about the same size as my avatar and could not be the 6.8 eyes since we build several calibers.

They will be marked "Multi" for sure, we are only getting 50 this first time. Lets just say I am gun shy but, I really don't expect any problems at all from Mega, they make some of the best receivers out there.

Congrats H! I was just thinking about this the other day and wondering how that was going. I always need one more lower. It would be nice to have a matching lower for my Mk68. Then I can use the current S&W lower I built for it for a 6.8 or 5.56 SBR. I think I spoke for serial # 0069 but I'll take what I can get out of the first fifty.

The left side will be egraved with our FFL information "Innovative Tactical"
The right side can have the face laser etched below the port door but some uppers already have the little face on the port door so it may be too much to have both on the same side of the rifle.
We may just need to drop the face on the port door when we build complete rifles.

There was all kinds of confusion in that post. The reference me and Aramark made was to Douglas Adams (D.A.) and 42 in which one of his books is based around that number.

Marines reason for the number was entirely different and more of a relevant reason.

42 and D.A. have nothing to do with the gun world.

I talked to LAR but decided to go with Mega for a little more cost.
