18" Stainless barrels have arrived, will be a couple of weeks before I get a chance to flute them, we are in the middle of running bolts and extensions for the 6mmBR and .264 LBC.
I still need to take a half day and test these before any ship.

What is the anticipated weight reduction to be acheived from the fluting? What is the present profile of the 18" stainless barrel? thanks!

Have you done any more looking into a QPQ for stainless?

working on it, the gas NC is very expensive so we are testing pieces with other treatments now just don't know what color they will be.

That's good to know. I'm interested to see what comes back.

Test pieces came back, one "S-Carb" is jet black so it looks like we have a process.
The lot charge is expensive so we will only do 50 or more at a time.

I'll have to get some moola together and beg you to run me up a 14.5" fluted to throw in the pile for treatment. Could you or Donna run up a price for me, no rush.
