I noticed that all the good stuff is marked LEO/Mil only. What creates that designation? Is it something to do with your contract with the manufacture that you will only sell to LEO/Mil?
Very nice site by the way, just kind of disappointing regarding my question above.
Well NOT all the good stuff. :-)
Most of the items you see restricted is from the Manufacturer, not us. Most of the time (except for IR lasers which are FDA regulated), is a supply and demand issue that the manufacture has massive contracts to Mil and can only afford to sell to LE in low numbers. Most times if they sell to the commercial market, they would not be able to keep up with their mil contracts. In order to sell these products we must adhere to the manufactures policy or risk not selling anything from them. Hope this helps.

They can damage eyes supposidly...... that is why it is hard to find a true IR laser

Amy laser of a strong enough output can damage eyes. The idea is an IR laser can't be seen by the naked eye and as such can't be avoided if someone feels the need to shine it someone else's eyes.

I understand the "danger" of an IR laser, just not the reason why the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has any input.... anyway..
